Chicken Run?

Something weird happened the other morning. I was up as usual in the morning to prepare myself for class. Suddenly i realise there was another person in the toilet. He was looking through the window overlooking New college, the college right next to mine, happily chuckling away as if something is happening. I decided to ignore him as i could'nt be bothered. (IMO angmohs like to do silly things). Anyway, a few minutes later, another friend came in and went "Hey, what's going on down there?"
Then both of them looked out through the window..
Something is not right.. I decided to kepo then..
The first guy asked us to look into the courtyard of New college and said something like:
"see the bench there? what's beside the bench?"
Sure enough, there WAS something there, and then we realised that it was a chicken..
Apparently, that morning, New college found themselves swarmed by 60 chickens. Someone had smuggled them in as a prank the night before.
As funny as it initially seemed, something was not right.
I did a mental calculation in my head. 60 chickens would at least cost $10 each. That would mean the overall cost for the prank would be 60 x 10 = $600? That would be a little dumb.. I guess whoever did the prank stole a bunch of chickens from a barn. Now this all seemed like a well planned job.
Naturally the people from New college would suspect us, we are notoriously linked to some other incidences before. However, I doubt something this scale could be done by our people. Not to mention that nobody claimed to be the culprit at all.
The incidence was quite serious too as several chickens died of stress. A friend of mine was even summoned to kill some of them. The description was a little disturbing.. haha! The RSPCA or something like that eventually came to clear up the mess.
That concludes the New college chicken incidence.
