The Synapse Connections of a lifetime

yeah! i'm feeling so carefree now.. lol! now i have 2 weeks before the whole cycles repeat itself again.. lol!

The paper was fairly ok.. i wouldn't say that i will ace it, but i think i'll be in the pass side.. haha! One thing i was quite shocked at is that there's no embryology questions in the "short answer" portion.. So all the effort that i've put in for embryology was not really used for the exam.. lol! But its ok.. i study for my future patients, not for the exam.. (*bluekkkkkk!!). haha!

Went out to a place called 'kopitiam' just now to eat.... LAKSA!! haha! it's actually very good! and its curry laksa.. yum yum! but still.. I MISS LAKSA shack! it's like the best place to eat laksa!! haha! nah.. not really... the laksa you can find on the streets of penang is still the ichiban laksa to eat.. lol! :) The funny thing was.. before i went away from penang, i did not realise that penang food was so nice.. guess this is what we call taking things for granted. Of course, when i meet other people, they will tend to say that their food is better. Hehe!

After LAKSA, we went to this place called "the cube" somewhere near Town Hall train station. It's quite a cool place with nice lightings and all. Its something like a lounge where people hang out during their work breaks and stuff like that.. Our scenario facilitator treated us with the drinks.. which is so nice.. hehe! i drank a cocktail, i forgot what it's called.. andro something.. which is rather sour.. i got a feeling that i'm quite drunk resistant.. coz i've never gotten really drunk b4.. though the reason for that is probably because i don't drink much anyway.. lol!

Sometimes i guess we've all moved too fast in our time, chasing our dreams, getting work done, going out with friends, and doing usual stuff.. It's almost my routine now, and its too routine.. i want a break from this all...

Looking at the picture in my blog this morning.. i suddenly thought that i had not given myself enough time to sit back and enjoy nature... As weird as it seems, with all my games and anime, i still like to sit in parks and enjoy the soothing sounds and sights of nature.. I imagined myself sitting nicely in a jungle with nice waterfall sounds.. hehe! So nice!

Its nice to pause everything in life and just relax. It's actually important.. as we all should have time to reflect on our daily lives, and think of what went right, or what went wrong.. sometimes things go past us so fast that we failed to notice little details, and things go by so fast that we failed to cherish them.

There are parks here, but its kinda far.. so there wasn't much chance for me to do so.. Well, it's also because i'm smacked in the city area, so there's not much parkish place around.. plus, the weather isn't exactly friendly for a good sit in the park.. hehe!

Back to real life, exams coming in two weeks, and the heat is starting again.. this time it felt routine, maybe because it's somewhat the same as the previous pattern.. but the content's a lot different.. Its very meaty.. lol! Its also a good thing that assignments and projects are done and submitted, so i can finally concentrate more on my studies.. Med show had taken much time away, so i guess i have to catch up on the time..

I think i'm beginning to feel quite at home now.. I hope things will be better in the future, but i'm happy as i am now.. :)

We went to Malaysia fest yesterday afternoon for lunch, i ate nasi lemak, and half a bowl of laksa that is cold.. haha! It isnt exactly nice though.. sigh.. Penang laksa's nice name has been destroyed by those people.. hahaha! Saw a few of my friends from Malaysia Hall doing some performance yesterday as well.. haha! they were quite funny! hehe! singing dikir barat and all.. :P

Anyway, i guess i should go now.. half an hour more to my prac.. hehe!
