Random pictures

Was just looking through some pictures and came across some random stuff, thought i'd share it here.. enjoy!

This one is a random guy using a metal detector on the beach. I think there's a high possibility he's trying to find some rare metal or maybe syringes dropped by druggies.. :P

In this pizza place, we saw this amusing looking table menu:

It looks pretty ordinary until you start to play around with it.. Then you'll realise..

There's more stuff in the inside part of the triangle shaped menu. But that's not all..

There's more stuff at the bottom!

I guess this is a method of budgeting.. or maybe it's a 'secret' area to get special price? Haha!

Good thing the pizza was awesome.. :P

Finally, the best toilet i've seen so far..

Thunder... thunder.. thunder BOX!!! Won't tell you who's the guy inside.. Don't wanna get sued.. :P

Safe?

Recently a small bomb exploded in Puduraya, a central hub for busses in KL. The bomb injured a little girl and left her with burns. The news was a little bit shocking for me, as I used Puduraya to take my busses home several times. The place was already plagued with pickpockets and other random criminals, now terrorists? Maybe I should start avoiding that place now..

What we need is a stronger police image, and a stronger presence. But the fact is, maintaining security in such a busy place is difficult, no matter how many personnel are placed. I hope this will not repeat again, lest fear is instilled in Malaysia.

Took this picture in Dubbo. I like the angle of the shot (self praise?) haha!

Death be no end to existence

Something interesting and closely related to what I'm seeing nowadays.. It's a poem of sorts, stolen with permission from Shuli's blog. Hope you find it insightful.. :)

REMEMBER ME

THE day will come when my body will lie upon a white sheet neatly tucked under four corners of a mattress located in a hospital busily occupied with the living and the dying.

At a certain moment a doctor will determine that my brain has ceased to function and that, for all intents and purposes, my life has stopped.

When that happens, do not attempt to instil artificial life into my body by the use of a machine.

And don’t call this my deathbed. Let it be called the bed of life, and let my body be taken from it to help others lead fuller lives.

Give my sight to the man who has never seen a sunrise, a baby’s face or love in the eyes of a woman.

Give my heart to a person whose own heart has caused nothing but endless days of pain.

Give my blood to the teenager who was pulled from the wreckage of his car, so that he might live to see his grandchildren play.

Give my kidneys to the one who depends on a machine to exist from week to week.

Take my bones, every muscle, every fibre and nerve in my body and find a way to make a crippled child walk.

Explore every corner of my brain. Take my cells, if necessary, and let them grow so that, someday a speechless boy will shout at the crack of a bat and a deaf girl will hear the sound of rain against her window.

Burn what is left of me and scatter the ashes to the winds to help the flowers grow.

If you must bury something, let it be my faults, my weakness and all prejudice against my fellow man.

Give my sins to the devil.

Give my soul to God. If, by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you.

If you do all I have asked, I will live forever.

It's sad to think that someone with cancer would probably not able to donate anything except for his cornea.
